A Silva Lining for Tomás

Tomás Silva won the Palmares Classic with two solid rounds of 66 and 66 for a 12 under par total giving him a well-deserved win by 4 shots from a charging Albin Tiden who completed his final round in a 9 under par 63 but his first round of 73 left him with too much to do.

Bradley Moore and George Bloor both opened with 6 under par 66’s to start the second-round level with Silva but both fell away and failed to challenge the eventual winner.

The Portuguese player who has been knocking on the door for quite some time, finally crossed the line and looked to carry his form onto the next tournament at Penina.
